- Works everywhere. Email, chat, documents, code editors, and terminals: any app you can type in.
- Fast. Whisp turns speech into text while you talk, so your words show up moments after you let go.
- Clean text. It removes filler words like "um" and "uh". Say "new line" or "scratch that" while you talk.
- Dictionary and snippets. Teach it names it gets wrong. Say a short phrase like "my calendar link" and it types the full text.
- AI polish, if you want it. A language model can fix grammar and wording. The built-in one runs on your PC, or you can use your own server.
Privacy
Speech recognition runs on your PC. After you download a speech model once, Whisp works offline. What you say never leaves your PC, unless you choose an AI server on another computer for AI polish. No account and no tracking.
