Support

How can we help?

Email is the fastest way to reach us. We read everything and reply within two business days, usually sooner.

hello@tikyaniapps.com

What to include

  • Project inquiry: what you are trying to change, who it affects, and any date you are working toward. A rough idea is enough to start.
  • Existing client: the system, what happened, and what you expected instead.
  • App support: which app, your device and OS version, and the steps that led to it.

Working with us

Engagements, pricing, and ownership

What does an engagement look like?

Discovery first, then a written scope and a fixed price for phase one. After that: design, build, release, and a support period. You see running software every week, not a status deck.

How do you price?

Fixed price per phase for defined scope, and a monthly retainer for hosting, support, and ongoing work. No hourly meter, so a slow week is our problem rather than your invoice.

Who owns the code?

You do, on final payment. The source sits in your Git organisation and the infrastructure in accounts under your name, so you can hire anyone next without asking us for anything.

What happens if we stop working together?

Nothing moves, because it was already yours. We hand over credentials, runbooks, and a walkthrough with whoever takes it on. There is no proprietary runtime to be stuck inside.

Do you sign NDAs, MSAs, and DPAs?

Yes, and we will work under your paper or ours. Send the agreement early rather than at signature; it occasionally changes the architecture.

How small is too small?

Under about two weeks of work we are usually the wrong shop, and we will say so and point you at the cheaper answer instead of taking the job.

Can you take over an existing codebase?

Often. We start with a read-only audit: what actually runs, what is at risk, what it costs to keep alive, and the one change that would help most. You get that in writing whether or not you continue with us.

Do you work onsite?

We are remote from New Jersey and work across US hours. We travel for kickoffs and for anything that genuinely needs a room.

Security and data

Where it lives and who can reach it

Where does our data live?

In accounts you own, in the region you choose. We operate them; we do not hold them.

Do you train models on our data?

No. Nothing you give us goes into model training, and the providers we call are configured not to retain it.

Who on your side can reach production?

Access is per person, granted through accounts you control, logged, and revocable by you in a click. We do not keep a shared admin login.

Do you take backups, and have you restored one?

Daily, retained, and restore-tested. A backup nobody has restored is a hope, not a backup.

What happens when something breaks at 2am?

Alerting reaches a person, not a dashboard nobody is looking at. Response and resolution targets are written into the agreement rather than implied.

Can you support a security or compliance review?

Yes. We complete the questionnaire and give you the architecture, the subprocessor list, and the retention schedule in writing.

Do you carry insurance?

Tikyani Apps LLC is a New Jersey limited liability company and carries the coverage our client agreements require. Ask and we will send the certificate.

AI and automation

What we do when the model is wrong

Which models do you use?

Whichever fits the job, and the workflow is written so the model is swappable. We are not married to a vendor, and neither are you.

What happens when the model gets it wrong?

We assume it will. Every workflow has a check, a retry, and a route to a person, and it reports what it could not finish instead of failing quietly.

Will it make things up about our data?

Answers are grounded in your own records with the source attached, so a person can check the claim in one click rather than deciding whether to trust it.

What does it cost to run?

Cheap work goes to a small model, repeated work is cached, and spend is capped per user. You see the cost per run, so the bill stays flat as usage grows.

Can it run on our own infrastructure?

Usually, if there is a reason to. Tell us early, because it changes the design rather than the deployment.

How do you know it works before it goes live?

It is scored against real examples first. Something that works on five inputs is a demo. Something that works on five hundred is a feature.

Will this replace our staff?

That is not what we sell. The work worth automating is the repetitive part nobody wants: reading the document, pulling the numbers, routing it, chasing the exception.

Our apps

WheyGPT

How does WheyGPT track protein?

Take a photo of your meal and WheyGPT analyzes it to estimate the protein grams on your plate, with no barcode scanning or database searching. Estimates are exactly that: estimates. When precision really matters, check the label.

What does WheyGPT cost?

WheyGPT starts with a 3-day free trial. After that it's $3.99 per week or $39.99 per year, billed through your Apple ID. You can view it on the App Store(opens in a new tab).

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open iOSSettings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose WheyGPT, and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Refund requests also go through Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app: open the Profile tab, tap the gear icon, then under Danger Zonetap Delete account and confirm twice. That permanently removes your account and the data tied to it from our systems. If you can't access the app anymore, email us from your account's email address and we'll do it for you. Details are in the WheyGPT privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Note: deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription Do that in iOS Settings first.

Is my data private?

Meal photos are analyzed to produce your estimate and are not stored on our servers, and your day-to-day food log stays on your device. The full picture, meaning what we store, who processes it, and for how long, is in the WheyGPT privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Which devices does WheyGPT support?

WheyGPT runs on iPhone and iPod touch with iOS 15.1 or later. It's currently available in English.

WheyGPT provides nutrition estimates for general fitness purposes. It is not medical advice. For questions about your diet, medication, or health, talk to a clinician.
